We offer secure and flexible self storage units, offices and workshops of a variety of sizes. With 24/7 access you'll be able to access your unit any time, any day of the week. Minimum term rental is just 30 days for self storage units and just 90 days for offices and workshops.
HOW DO I GAIN ENTRY TO MY UNIT?
HOW DO I GAIN ENTRY TO MY UNIT?
With TheWorkstore, you can enter the facility and your unit using just your mobile phone. Before your move in date, you will receive a text message to your mobile phone with instructions on how to set this up. It will require the download of TheWorkstore app from either the Apple or Android app stores. Downloading the app and gaining access is simple, but if you are in any doubt we recommend moving in on a week day between 07:30 and 17:30, where we can be reached on the phone for any queries.
HOW DO I DOWNLOAD THE APP?
Follow the instructions on the text message sent to you, which will take you to the Apple or Android app stores, depending on which device you have.
I DON’T HAVE AN APPLE OR ANDROID DEVICE. CAN I STILL GET ACCESS?
Yes you can, though you will need to use a Fob which requires a deposit payment. Call us on 01384 904050 if you require one, either before or after booking your room.
WHY WON’T THE GATES/DOORS/UNIT DOOR OPEN FOR ME?
We offer 24/7 Access – if your access is not working please call 01384 904050. Please note the front gate requires you to enter your access PIN, do not push or pull them as access is through your app.
WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
TheWorkstore facility is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our phone lines are open Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 5:30pm
WILL THERE BE ANY EMPLOYEES ON SITE WHEN I ARRIVE?
Unless you have previously arranged to meet a member of our team on site, it is unlikely there will be any employees on site when you arrive. If you would like to see a member of staff, simply call 01384 904050. Someone is usually available between Monday – Friday between 07:30 and 17:30.
IS THERE ANYONE ON SITE TO HELP ME UNLOAD OR LOAD MY STUFF?
While employees are sometimes on site, you should always plan to unload and pack your items yourself.
ARE THERE ANY STEPS TO ENTER THE FACILITY?
The site entrance is at ground level with no steps into the Self Storage facility and Workshops. Access to the offices does have 2 small steps. If your office is on the 1st Floor, this is only accessible via stairs.
HOW CLOSE CAN I PARK TO MY UNIT?
Depending on car park availability, you will be able to park directly outside the facility. It is then a very short walk into the facility and to your unit.
ARE THERE ANY TROLLEYS AT THE SITE TO AID WITH UNLOADING/PACKING?
There may be trolleys on site to help you with unloading, but these are not always available and may not be suitable for your needs. Please plan to bring your own assistance if required.

Not at the moment but we are happy to recommend local companies that do.
WHAT CAN I STORE?
You can store any items not on the prohibited list:
· No food or perishable goods unless securely packed so they are protected from and do not attracts vermin
· No living creatures
· No combustible or flammable substances such as gas, paint, petrol, oil, solvents or compressed gas
· No firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition
· No chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or other potentially hazardous materials or substances
· No items that emit fumes or odours
· No illegal items or substances, or goods obtained illegally such as illicit (counterfeit/smuggled) tobacco, drugs or alcohol
· No unlicenced or unsafe goods (such as medicines, aerosols and fireworks)
· No furs, paintings, jewellery, curious works of art exceeding £10,000 in value for any one item, and/or £50,000 in total unless agreed to and accepted in writing by TheWorkstore and the insurers (yours or purchased via TheWorkstore)
· No currency, bullion or similar
CAN I BOOK ONLINE?
Yes you can book Self Storage Units online immediately. Simply follow the online instructions and you can complete your booking. Offices and Workshops require an online application first, however you will still be able to manage your booking online once approved.
CAN I BOOK BY PHONE?
Yes, though it will take longer and the lowest available prices are online.
WHAT PAYMENT OPTIONS ARE THERE?
You can pay using any major debit or credit card, including American Express. You can also pay monthly by Direct Debit.
CAN I CANCEL BEFORE I MOVE IN EVEN THOUGH I’VE SENT YOU MY PAYMENT DETAILS?
Yes you can. To cancel your booking, either log in to your account online, or call us on 01384 904050. You will not be charged if you cancel before your move in date.
CAN I CHANGE MY PAYMENT CARD?
Yes you can. Log into your account online, click on 'View Payment Details' and add a new card.
I WANT TO MOVE OUT AND/OR CANCEL FUTURE PAYMENTS. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?
The quickest way to move out is to log into your TheWorkstore account online and cancel. If you require any assistance, call us on 01384 904050.
I WANT TO MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY. CAN I GET A REFUND ON PAYMENTS MADE TO DATE?
You can move out at any time. However, payments are made monthly in advance and are non-refundable.
WHERE IS THEWORKSTORE’S CRADLEY HEATH FACILITY?
We are located on Doulton Road, Cradley Heath, West Midlands, B64 5QW. This is at the bottom of the hill on the right hand side going down, or the left hand side if you are driving uphill from Powke Lane. The facility is clearly signposted from the roadside. We are just a 5 minute drive from Junction 2 of the M5.

WHAT IS COVERED BY THEWORKSTORE INSURANCE POLICY IF I BUY IT?
Insurance is a requirement of your rental. You can provide your own insurance certificate, or you and purchase insurance at checkout. Level of cover depends upon your choices. Click here to view the options fully.
